Boys Town
Saving Children and Healing Families Across America
As part of a national organization, you have the opportunity to care for children and families in different locations across the country. From our National Headquarters in Omaha, Neb., to three main offices in sunny Florida, Boys Town offers many employment opportunities. In addition to our physical locations, we help people right where they live through our national hotline, books, online resources and our national research hospital. Every year, Boys Town services touch the lives of more than 2 million people nationwide.
Each of our locations offers its own set of child and family services, which can include group homes, in-home family services, foster care, parenting classes and behavioral health services.
Programs to Help Children
Family Home Program
We provide a family for children ages 10 to 18. Six to eight boys or girls live in each single-family home with a married couple called Family-Teachers®.
Residential Treatment Center
Children ages 5 to 18 who have severe behavioral and mental health problems receive care at this state-of-the-art center.
Boys Town Schools
Students who are being served by our program-row or have struggled in mainstream school program-row attend schools operated by Boys Town. Specially trained Boys Town teachers and administrators provide instruction to help meet children's unique learning needs.
Programs for Families
In-Home Family Services
We help teach families not only how to handle issues after they arise but also how to prevent them from becoming more disruptive, while they remain in their home.
Foster Family Services
Foster parents, trained and supported by Boys Town, open their homes to children who need a safe place to live.
Common Sense Parenting®
The proactive skills and techniques taught in this program help parents create healthy family relationships that foster safety and well-being at home, in school and in the community.
Boys Town National Hotline
Available 24/7, 365 days a year, the Boys Town National Hotline is staffed by trained counselors who can give advice and find help for a wide range of issues, from addiction and suicidal thoughts to adolescent defiance and other issues.
For Communities

developed a series of evidence-based training program-row for educators,
administrators and school staff.
Care Coordination
This program provides a lifeline to children, parents and families suffering from mental health issues by connecting them with program-row or resources that can provide the best care.
Center for Behavioral Health℠
The Boys Town Center for Behavioral Health works with children and their families to identify and treat issues such as depression, anxiety, school problems and ADHD.
What I like best about working at Boys Town is the employee collaboration. Whether we are working in an office, a classroom, a family home, or in a labor-intensive position such as housekeeping or maintenance, we are all working together to benefit the children and families we serve.
What motivates me to get up and go to work is really understanding the role we have in the lives of the youth. I know growing up I connected with these kids. You also see the change in the kids throughout the day. You see what your impact has made for them.
