Boys Town New England Services

Boys Town has been dedicated to saving children and healing families for 100 years. Boys Town New England offers a variety of services based on the research-proven Boys Town Model®.

Family Home Program

On our Bazarsky Campus, in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, we provide high quality residential care for children, ages 12 through 18, who can no longer live in their homes. Up to six boys or girls live in each single-family home with a trained caregivers called Family-Teachers®, who meet the youths’ daily needs and teach valuable life skills.

Foster Family Services

Recruits and trains foster parents who open their homes and hearts to children who need a safe place to live. Foster parents receive continual support from Boys Town.

In-Home Family Services

We work with families right in their homes, teaching parents new skills, how to prevent problems and how to resolve issues on their own after services end. These services are provided while children remain in their homes.

Care Coordination Services

Connects families to basic local resources. It also provides a lifeline for children suffering from mental health issues by accessing programs or resources that can provide the best care.

Common Sense Parenting®

Helps parents learn new skills, build on their parenting strengths and develop healthy relationships with their children. Hundreds of New England families and children benefit each year from these classes.

Lift with Boys Town

Brings together educators, students, families and Boys Town experts to address students’ social-emotional needs with wraparound services. Our goal is to intervene before problems reach a level where children are unsafe or not at school. This program is in all Elementary and Secondary schools in Pawtucket School District.

Community Support and Resources

The Boys Town National Hotline® (800-448-3000) is a free resource and counseling service that assists youth and parents 24/7, year round, nationwide.

Parenting Support We've learned a lot about caring for children and families over the past 100 years. All that knowledge has been adapted and made available to all parents online. 

Boys Town Press® produces books, audio products, DVDs, display materials and other resources to assist children, parents, caregivers, educators and other professionals.

YourLifeYourVoice.org is a special website that enables and encourages teens to ​share their problems and concerns in positive ways and provides access to immediate help in a crisis.
