Patriots offensive lineman Caedan Wallace received a custom pair of cleats from Boys Town New England in Portsmouth on Tuesday night for his impact in the organization.

“I just love supporting the community,” Wallace said. “I heard that there’s kids here that need some support and so I’m here.”

Boys Town is a family home program that provides care for at-risk kids who can’t live at home.

“I feel like it’s important for everyone to have a great support system around them,” Wallace said. “Being able to be here and provide a spark in some kids’ lives is so important to me.”

Wallace took time to answer questions and sign autographs for the kids.

“Caeden has a really great heart for foster kids,” Executive Director of Boys Town New England Sarah Galvan said. “A big portion of our population is kids that are in the foster care system.”

The program gave back in return, gifting a pair of custom cleats to Wallace as part of the NFL’s “My Cause My Cleats” campaign.

“[The] cleats were fire,” Wallace said. “I’m very grateful, and it’s just an amazing experience.”

“Seeing them come out, they’re amazing,” he said. “The colors are vibrant, it’s everything I could’ve imagined.”

Wallace is currently on injured reserve but said he still plans to wear the cleats for the team’s next home matchup against the Colts.
