In honor of Children's Mental Health Day and Mental Health Awareness Month, Boys Town Nevada proudly held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its consolidated Behavioral Health Clinic location at the Collaboration Center on May 7, 2025.
The Collaboration Center, located in the southwest valley of Las Vegas, has been a resource point for children and families with disabilities. As a partner of the Collaboration Center since 2021, Boys Town Nevada was thrilled to share the newly renovated space for our Behavioral Health Clinic to continue to serve children and families across the valley.
This celebration featured Boys Town Nevada Executive Director John Etzell and Clinical Director Dr. Tara Borsh, who introduced the clinic’s expanded space and the importance of the work that is done within the Collaboration Center. Our organization received proclamations from Clark County Commissioner Michael Naft and the representatives for Congresswoman Susie Lee and Senator Jacky Rosen. Commissioner Naft, in his remarks, highlighted the critical need for youth mental health care and the importance of these services in our community, naming the day Boys Town Nevada Behavioral Clinic Day.
