Tallahassee, FL – Boys Town is pleased to announce Bethany Lacey as the new Executive Director of Boys Town South Florida, an affiliate of the original Father Flanagan’s Boys’ Home. Bethany will lead the organization’s mission of saving children and healing families in the Las Vegas community.
“Bethany brings extensive Boys Town experience, boundless energy, and a true passion for the mission,” Said Jon Jelley, Vice President of Youth Care Site Operations. “The management and leadership experience Bethany acquired over the past 15 years has prepared her well for the Executive Director role.”
Bethany began her career in child welfare as a dependency case manager and holds a certification in Child Protection. She has worked for Boys Town since 2006, starting as an In-Home Family Service Consultant. Bethany has served in many capacities including In-Home Family Service Supervisor and Director where she oversaw all In-Home and Care Coordination services in addition to coordinating the Common Sense Parenting program. She has spent several years working in different roles at the Boys Town Central Florida and North Florida sites prior. Bethany holds a master’s in Counseling and Psychology and a bachelor’s in Christian Counseling.
