It was a busy summer for our Early Head Start team and families.
In June, our EHS and My Community Cares teams hosted a Parent Appreciation event celebrating the parents and caregivers in our programs. Families spent time together and took home shoes, diapers, toys, skateboards and other supplies for their children.
Then in August, we welcomed new and returning families for two days of Parent Orientation to kick off the 2026–2027 school year. In addition to preparing parents for the year ahead, orientation gave our team time to answer questions, connect with families and continue building the relationships that are such an important part of Early Head Start.
We’re excited to welcome our children and families back for another school year and to see what the year ahead brings.
