Lacee, Kinship Navigation Specialist

Employee Spotlight Lacee

Meet Lacee, one of our Kinship Navigation Specialists who has been with Boys Town since June 2022!  Kinship Navigators implement the Boys Town Care Coordination model to connect kinship families to resources and develop their support system to maintain placement stability until a child returns to the care of their parents.  Lacee is great at her relationship building with families and other staff members, as well as her time management skills and her ability to help families get connected with what they need.

Some fun facts about Lacee:

1)  I am 70% done with master’s degree in clinical counseling.

2)  I always find a way to save or find a deal.

3)  I drink about 150 ounces of water a day.

Lacee says what she enjoys most about her work with Boys Town, is “making a difference in the lives of my families by being their emotional support and helping them navigate the system. When talking about families, I refer to the children in the home as “my kids” because I often think of them as my kids or how I would want my family cared for in this situation. I want to be their biggest advocate to ensure their safety and what is best for them.”
