Boys Town National Hotline saw a spike in calls last Wednesday, as heightened emotions after the election led to increased anxiety and stress for youth and families seeking support.

The Boys Town National Hotline answered 101,824 calls last year. And, it helped prevent 465 suicides in progress. Teens especially continue to struggle with challenging topics..

According to the World Health Organization, 58 million children and adolescents worldwide are living with an anxiety disorder.

Youth mental health has always been a top priority at Boys Town. In fact, our Boys Town National Hotline has been providing lifesaving resources for youth in mental health crisis since 1989.
